Fucking gay would be more accurate.

I sent in a support ticket asking wtf.

If they can not accommodate our page design within their ad architecture, I really think we should move to geocities or some other place. Inability to load the INM song title generator for use by visitors, and inability to provide mp3 dl's--the main reason I understood 9999mb was chosen, yes?--means we need to locate a better server option.

May the Necrowizard impale them all blasphemously up the ass with icebergs the size of Africa!

It's quite simple to get the site moved. The thing I'm worried about, is that we maybe can't have a custom-forum on the new site. So if we use 9999mb for forums and (MAYBE) downloads, that would be grim.

We can't upload mp3s for download.
We can't upload rar's *period*.
We can't upload zip's *period*.
I snuck in an exe w/o an extension, but that's not self-explanatory to people who like to point-n-click.
I'm at a loss for how 9999mb is a source for downloads?

At least, not in a free setting. I suppose if we paid them they'd allow us to do those things, and at that point (when we fork over money to them) we'd also be able to have our beloved and blasphemed site unsanctified by the holy dollar....

We COULD zip it into .zip files, and rename the files to .grim
and then upload it :[

Have you effectively, successfully done this? (*.zip > *.grim and uploaded, such that it can be successfully d/l, renamed, and still run?) I don't have time at the moment to experiment, but if you know that it works, please edit the files in the directories so people can get at them!

New problem I hadn't had a chance to mention yet:

Since 9999mb put us on their google ad crap, our index page no longer loads for users of Internet Explorer. It is related to frame code, I know that, but I'm not sure what counter-spell to issue forth.

We all know Bill Gates is the Unnecrowizard's heir, but some people may only have access to computers with IE (it's possible) and with the current state of affairs, they will never have the opportunity to learn there is a grim way.

If anyone here knows the snippet I need to return our satanic impalings to the users of IE, drop me an email.

I'm working on hiding the ads, but I'm having to learn the incantations. In order to have guaranteed grimness, it is always best to know the code direct.

The second thread is for the forum only, because I wanted everyone to emigrate to that forum. But, it seems like the host is so damn unstable that it's not possible to have any forum there.

we got the original song title generator back up and available, since geocities does not prohibit downloadable files.

You must pm me here to let me know about broken links or inaccuracies (I'm trying to change all the wording so as nto to confuse the old webmaster with myself--help me out by telling me anything I missed-thanks.)

I haven't set up an email account just yet.

I did create the subdirectory impaled_northern_moonforest, so the site is officially www.geocities.com/return_of_the_necrobation/impaled_northern_moonforest/ ,
but, if you click on the necrowizard at
www.geocities.com/return_of_the_necrobation/ it will take you there, just the same

I figured we could use
